DeVanté is a lifelong native of Alabama and currently resides in Montgomery, Alabama. He is joined by his loving wife, Shannon, his two children, Carson and Elena Grace, and their family Maltese, Bruno. He was raised in humble beginnings in the small rural community of Suggsville in Southwest Alabama by a single mother and two loving grandparents. There, he learned the principles of hard work, values, and cherishing relationships. Outside of his professional life he enjoys the great outdoors, traveling, writing, and creating memories with his family.

He is a multi-faceted professional with a background in finance, business development, project management, and stakeholder management. Mr. Snell is also a Consultant, Program Manager at HII Mission Technologies Corporation, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), a Department of Defense (DoD) prime contractor that services the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). He leads complex projects and programs that aim to meet the needs of stakeholders in a better way than existing solutions, serving as a strategic partner.

Mr. Snell plays an integral role as the Chief of Events and Public Outreach for HII’s client, Air University Innovation Accelerator (AUiX) Air Education Training Command (AETC), where he leads the Events and Outreach Lab and contributes to the Education Lab, Special Projects, and The Eagle Institute. He delivers value for Air University (AU) at Maxwell Air Force Base and the Department of the Air Force (DAF) with his roles and responsibilities.

Collectively, as a multifaceted professional, DeVanté has produced 91 automotive units sold that generated handsome profits for the dealership’s shareholders and stellar customer satisfaction for the clients he serviced at Orr Motors of Troy, Inc. — DBA Pike County Ford. He produced $21.6MM in life insurance face amount issued in the marketplace within two years in the life insurance profession, more than $3MM in assets invested for various clients as a financial professional for four years, and he was awarded several high-performance based awards and accolades at New York Life Insurance Company, a Fortune 100 Company and one of America’s most respected financial institutions.
